What’s the difference between an ozone generator and an ioniser?

An ioniser releases static charges and primarily affects particles very close to the unit, whereas an ozone generator produces ozone through oxidation, which spreads throughout the entire space. Ozone can eradicate bacteria and odours in the air and on surfaces , while ionisers generally only influence airborne particles and cannot sterilise water.

Ozone is a strong oxidising gas — similar to how bleach is a strong oxidising liquid — but the levels produced by our generators are micro-doses designed to kill microorganisms safely .
